The AirCheck Texas program is designed to provide qualified individuals the financial assistance needed to pass the emission portion of the Motor Vehicle Inspection or to be compensated for vehicles in need of retirement. Plano Auto Hospital was one of the first Recognized Emission Repair Facilities in Collin County to participate in this program. Briefly, if you qualify, funds are available for repairs up to $600.00 and the replacement funds for your old car, should you chose to retire it, have increased. Click here for details. The first step is to present the vehicle for inspection. It MUST pass the safety portion! Then if it fails the emission test, go to the AirCheck Texas site or call 1-800-898-9103 for application details. After you have your Voucher, bring your vehicle, proof of insurance and $30.00 co-pay to Plano Auto Hospital. We will compare the VIN on the Voucher to the vehicle, check the safety items and call AirCheck Texas for authorization. We will then proceed with diagnosing the problem. We will advise you and proceed per your instructions within AirCheck Texas guidelines. So We Can Breathe It ~ Not See It |
